Prayer, Projects and Mission
We organise prayer events whenever there is a need to call the borough together to pray. In 2018, we began by taking up a call to prayer from Orpington Baptist Church to bring peace on our streets after knife crime issues across the borough. During the Coronavirus pandemic in 2020, we moved to monthly online prayer gatherings, where churches are encouraged to join in as a whole congregation, leaders and members alike.
We are currently exploring options for hosting a regular prayer gathering for Church leaders and will update this page as soon as more information is available.
Community Impact
Most churches run their own projects locally and are a vital part of their community. Occasionally there is a need for a project to be borough-wide. This is where Transform Bromley Borough can step up to bring everyone together. We carried out the Cinnamon Faith Action Audit in 2015, which we launched to churches and civic partners.

In addition, some of the churches in our Borough are now offering warm spaces. Warm Spaces are free places where people can go to get warm, save money on their heating costs and make new friends, so avoiding social isolation. Many warm spaces have cafes that provide hot drinks as well as light meals and free wifi.
